...FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM PDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 28 to 36 will result in frost
formation.

* WHERE...Areas below 2000 feet including the Sacramento Valley,
Northern San Joaquin Valley and portions of the Carquinez
Strait and Delta.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to 9 AM PDT Saturday and Sunday mornings.

* IMPACTS...Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation,
including early budding fruit trees, such as pears, plums and
peaches, if left uncovered.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Northerly winds will limit frost formation
to be more patchy on Saturday. Coldest temperatures will be on
Sunday where frost is expected to be more widespread.

Police: Motorcycle driver dead after crashing Friday evening

CHICO, Calif. - The Chico Police Department says that the intersection of East 20th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway was closed Friday evening after a motorcycle accident.

Police say that they responded to the 1000 block of East 20th Street, along with medical and fire personnel.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead after they were taken to the hospital with major injuries.

During the three hours the intersection was closed, the CPD Major Accident Investigation Team began their investigation, which is still ongoing.
