SISKIYOU COUNTY, Calif. - Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Mount Shasta Police Officers were involved in an officer-involved shooting incident that resulted in a fatality Friday at about 9:53 p.m., according to the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office.
All involved deputies and officers were unharmed and have been placed on paid administrative leave pending completion of an investigation.
The incident occurred in an unincorporated area of Siskiyou County, outside the city limits of Mount Shasta.
