OROVILLE, Calif. - The Oroville Post Office will be swearing in a new Postmaster on Thursday, May 5 at 1 p.m.
Ofelia Villegas, the future Postmaster, will be replacing Oroville Postmaster Jennifer Arnold.
As Oroville Postmaster, Villegas will supervise 72 postal employees and the daily distribution of mail to 3,310 PO Boxes and more than 41,200 addresses on 18 city delivery routes, nine rural routes and three highway contract routes.
“I’m honored to have this responsibility and trust placed in my hands, and I will strive to provide our customers excellent service,” Villegas said in a press release.
