Woman arrested for mailing controlled substances to inmate

TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. - A woman was arrested after an investigation revealed a woman was mailing drugs to an inmate at the Tehama County Jail, according to the Tehama County Major Crimes Unit.

34-year-old Christina Agnew was arrested last week for bringing a controlled substance into a jail.

An investigation began when a controlled substance was found in letters that were mailed to Steven Looysen.

A search warrant was served at Agnew’s residence and found she had been attempting to provide Looysen with controlled substances.

Looysen is also facing a charge of bringing a controlled substance into a jail.

Their bail is set at $15,000.
