BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - CAL FIRE Butte County said the forward progress of a vegetation fire near the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery has been stopped.
Firefighters said the fire had a slow rate of spread and was on the west side of the train tracks behind the cemetery.Â
Crews will continue to mop up for a couple of hours.
Trains are slowing down as they pass through the area.Â
