TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. - A man was convicted by a jury on multiple felony counts in the Tehama County Superior Court Friday.

The Tehama County District Attorney's Office says that Justin Miller was convicted on two separate counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object under 14 and four separate counts of forcible lewd acts upon a child.

Authorities say that the investigation into Miller began in 2019 and was conducted by the Tehama County Sheriff's Office after allegations that Miller had inappropriately touched a 13-year-old girl.

The Tehama County District Attorney's Office says the investigation revealed that on four separate occasions, Miller had forcible and unwanted sexual contact with the victim.

According to authorities, DNA evidence that was collected during the investigation corroborated the victim's statements.

Miller will be back in court for sentencing on June 21 in the Tehama County Superior Court.
