TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. - A 51-year-old man was sentenced to one year and four months in state prison for possession of child pornography, according to the Tehama County District Attorney’s Office.Â
Ronald Verrett Jr. was sentenced after he was arrested in February of 2021 when the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant for Verrett’s devices and internet activity.
The search warrant came after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children made a report of seven images of child pornography being uploaded.Â
When deputies searched his internet activity, they found 66 images of child pornography.Â
The district attorney said Verrett admitted to seeking out child pornography.
