REDDING, Calif. - The Cascade Theater is bringing back live performances and guests returning, restaurants around the area are looking forward to the foot traffic that the theater will bring to Downtown Redding.
“It'll definitely bring in more people, it also brings in customers who might have known about us,” said Ashley Jones, the owner of Fusion Restaurant.
While it's empty seats and a bare stage over at the Cascade Theater for now, Fusion expects business to pick up once the curtain lifts.
“We see a huge rush right before a concert or anything going on,” said Jones.
“Whether they're coming for appetizers or coming in with friends and eating dinner before or just grabbing a quick cocktail.”
The restaurant expects it'll get even busier once those shows get going.
The Cascade Theater will have its first September show next Thursday.
