PARADISE, Calif. - COVID-19 vaccine and Pfizer booster doses are available in Paradise, according to Adventist Health.
Walk-ins are available through the Rapid Care clinic on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
People who have appointments with an Adventist Health provider can get the vaccine or a booster dose during their regular scheduled appointment Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The CDC recommends people should get the booster dose at least six months after completing the two-dose Pfizer vaccine.
People who are 65 years old and older, adults ages 18 years and older in a long-term care setting and people between the ages of 50 and 64 with underlying health conditions should get the booster dose, according to the CDC.
People between the ages of 18 and 49 with an underlying health condition and people between the ages of 18 and 64 who are at an increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission due to working or residing in certain settings may get the vaccine, according to the CDC.
