Yesterday was quite windy but also felt great outside with sunny skies. Today will be similar. Windy in the morning with lighter winds in the afternoon with valley highs approaching the mid-to-upper 70s. A Wind Advisory remains in place in the valley and Sierra until 11am Tuesday.
Wednesday will see lighter winds and full sunshine. Highs will near 80 degrees and a ridge of high pressure strengthens over the North State. The warming trend peaks on Thursday with valley highs in the low-80s. Friday will be slightly cooler with highs in the low-80s to upper-70s and partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. The more clouds we get, the lower those highs will be.
A disturbance off of the coast will keep partly cloudy skies with us on Saturday and cooler highs in the low-70s. This disturbance nears our region on Sunday bringing a few mountain showers and lowering valley highs into the upper-60s. Monday, a few more showers are expected in the mountains with one or two quick, light showers that can't be ruled out for now in the valley.
