an emotional morning at the butte college firefighting academy. 40 students... who were just kids when 9/11 happened... each learned the story of a firefighter who died that day... to share with the class. they wore a picture of that firefighter on their helmets, as they climbed the 4 story training tower 28 times... representing the 110 floors of the twin towers. we spoke with a student who's father died responding to the carr fire: " my dad was a firefighter. lot him last year working as a heavy equipment mechanic for cal fire. died in a vehicle accident. this is what i'm doing for myself and for him." after the tower climb there was a 'last alarm' bell ringing ceremony... to remember the sacrifice of new york city firefighters who died on september 11th, 2001.##
