tomorrow, the chico park district will talk about possibly letting dogs off- leash in some areas. the options include community park, hooker oak park, wildwood park, degarmo park and sycamore field. the district says dog owners will be responsible at all times for their pets' behavior. "the expectation is that as an owner of a pet that you will be a responsible pet owner and if your dog was not able to be controlled by voice that you will not choose to take your dog out off-leash". if it's approved, dogs will be allowed to exercise off- leash from 7 am to 2 pm, mondayã friday. a 90-day pilot program will start on august first. ### the forest
