conocerlo. glenn county deputies are praising two teenage girls for thwarting an apparent abduction attempt in willows. action news now reporter laura eng went to the area tonight and is here now to tell us how the teens were able to escape a frightening encounter. thanks to the teens' quick thinking, the man deputies say tried to lure them into his car, is now behind bars. madison: it's just really scary because it can happen to me. 15-year-old madison huffman is talking about a close call for two other teenagers in willows on saturday. madison:. like i'm concerned for the safety of my friends, my family. the glenn county sheriff's office said 42-year-old miguel martinez hernande* was driving near north tehama and west wood streets when he pulled up next to two girls - a 14 year old and 15- year-old. deputies say he tried to get them into his car. not often you hear about something like that. the quick- thinking girls immediately took action, spooking hernandez by make a call on a cell phone, then waiving their arms to attract attention. he sped away. yeah, i would probably do the same thing, just make a big scene. the teenagers took a photo of hernandez's car as he drove off. laura: just one hour after the first call was made, this is where the search ended. the sheriff's office said they found a car parked right here at this house that matched the photo the girl took. we spoke with lacy ramsey, hernandez's ex- sister in law. lacy: i pulled in and the cops had him in the driveway by the back door. deputies said hernandez initially gave them a fake name. ramsey was able to identify him. it turns out, there was an outstanding arrest warrant from colusa county for annoying or molesting a child. it bothers me you know, but i'm not one to pass judgement say that he did it, it's alarming you know. deputies arrested hernandez for providing false information to a peace officer and for his outstanding arrest warrant out of colusa county. laura eng, action news now.### so laura, hernandez was no* charged with attempted kidnapping? no, he was not. but the case has been turned over to the glenn county
