highway 99 - you may see new traffic warning signs - that's because cal trans is working to improve safety on area roads after multiple crashes, including several fatal accidents. the agency is placing electronic messaging boards and sensors near eaton road, neal road and garner lane. the goal is to give people early warning and enough time to slow down or stop in case traffic is backed up: "is just to increase safety measures for the increased traffic in the area due to the camp fire recovery" the boards will activate when traffic starts to back up. if there is no traffic, the signs will be off. these are temporary boards - cal trans says permanent boards will be installed in the coming months. ### you're never more than 10
