your weather forecast... kris kuyper is here now with weather... it was a very toasty tuesday around the north state, with high temperatures in the valley in the triple digits! we'll see a slight cool down by the end of the week, but the blazing heat will return this weekend! strong high pressure continues to dominate california, keeping our skies sunny and sending valley high temperatures into the triple digits. this dominant high will begin to weaken over the next few days, allowing our high temperatures to drop back into the 90's... barely. high pressure will strengthen again this weekend, and we'll see the triple digit heat return then. a little bit of moisture will sneak into the north state from the south on wednesday, and that may spark an isolated thunderstorm in the mountains in the afternoon. the valley will remain mostly sunny, with those clouds clearing out by thursday. the sunshine will continue through this weekend, which looks like a perfect weekend to hit the lake or splash around in a pool!
