### kris kuyper is here now with weather... light rain moved into the north state today, and that will pick up overnight. look for wet and windy weather through thursday, with yet more stormy weather coming our way this weekend! a healthy spring storm is moving into northern california, and will soak us nicely overnight. we saw light showers through the day wednesday, but the main band of rain will move through the north state wednesday evening with steady rain, which may get occasionally heavy. this should turn to just a few scattered showers after midnight. south winds have been blustery through the day wednesday, and these winds will continue to gust 30 to 40 mph overnight. we've got a wet and windy night ahead for us! thursday will start out still windy, but not much rain... if anything at all. off and on showers should develop in the afternoon, with a slight chance of a thunderstorm. these showers should dissipate overnight, and the winds will subside. friday will see relatively light winds, with only a slight chance of a shower. we should pick up between 2/3" and 1 1/4" of rain in the valley by friday morning. our next storm will surge in by saturday afternoon, with yet more rain. this rain should last through saturday night. south winds will gust 20 to 30 mph. sunday will see off-and-on showers through the day, with a slight chance of a thunderstorm in the valley. we should pick up around another 1/2" of rain in the valley this weekend. we'll get a break in the rain on monday, as skies turn partly cloudy. a new storm will spread showers through northern california by tuesday afternoon and night, but it doesn't look that strong. off-and- on showers will linger into wednesday. we'll see high temperatures in the valley in the 60's for the next week... no need for the air conditioner for quite a while! and if you turned on your sprinklers last week, go ahead and turn them off... we'll get free irrigation from mother nature for at least the next week!
