injuries.### an investigation remains underway- after an unknown substance caused a hazmat situation in the south placer jail. around three monday afternoon staff at the jail reportedly noticed an inmate in the booking area with an altered state of consciousness. four inmates, 8 deputies and a k-9 officer all went in to investigate- and all became ill. they reported symptoms like being disoriented dizzy sleepy and slow to respond to questions. that's when the hazmat team was brought in. "we arrived on scene and found multiple deputies and inmates suffering from an uknown medical condition." those who were sick-were taken to area hospitals. the facility closed and new bookings were redirected to the auburn jail. investigators have not yet identified the substance.### china hits
