debbie debbie good afternoon, i'm debbie cobb. the number of people staying at debbie good afternoon, i'm debbie cobb. the number of people staying at the red cross shelter in chico appears to be dwindling down. vo the official count at the silver dollar fairgroundis at 657 as of yesterday. red cross officials say they are working to determine who are true camp fire evacuees and who were homeless prior to the fire. they say it's a possibility homeless people are also staying at the shelter. sot full thats a possibility that some people who didn't have any place to stay may have come here and utilize the a safe place to stay and three meals a day, so we are working with everyone who is here we are going through and asking everyone to register red cross worders say they are helping everyone staying at the fairgrounds shelter to find long term homes. #### debbie
