julia julia new this morning... a california surfer is sharing his harrowing shark-bite story. vo cal poly sophmore "nick wapner" says a great white shark bit him at montana de oro state park tuesday morning. he was surfing with friends just off "sand pit". the shark bit through his wesuit and his board. wapner says he was able to kick at the great white until it let him go. sot full between that and the amount of foam and fiberglass that he probably got in his mouth that probably wasn't too tasty and so i think he figured he'd be better off just letting me go./////i mean they're looking for prey and sometimes you just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time vo shark warning signs have been posted at the park. ### wipe julia julia vo big waves drew surfers to ventura. the pier was closed due to high surf. it was damaged by the waves in december. the national weather service predicted six to ten-foot waves today. a coastal flood advisory was set to remain in effect until
