cecile good evening.. i'm cecile juliette... tuesday.. that's when caltrans says the 2 foot wide hole on the butte city bridge in glenn county will be fixed.. and traffic controls will be lifted... vo the california highway patrol says this morning aroun 9.. a semi truck driver felt a jolt while headed over the bridge in the eastbound lane. the backhoe on his trailer hit a trestle.. the backhoe came off the trailer and tore a 2 foot hole in the concrete, exposing rebar and the sacramento river underneath. no injuries were reported.. one lane is still open and traffic controls are in effect. north and south detours through colusa or ord ferry road will take drivers dozens of miles out of the way. #####
