#### debbie debbie repair work at the oroville dam spillway is moving along... crews went back to work on thedam at midnight. laura eng is live at the oroville dam.. with more on the work in progress..laura? closely behind me here, you can hear the machines chipping away at the concrete walls in the middle of the main spillway for the final phase of vo this year crews will be replacing those temporary walls with permanent structural concrete walls. here's what's been done already ... back in november, the d-w-r repaired and reconstructed the main lake oroville spillway to handle flows of up to 100- thousand cubic feet per second. on sealing drains, concrete seams, and drain pipes. sot full of phase two the real phase two. the upper half of the spillway or upper third actually. i think it's 300 on the first phase, 300 on the second phase. vo the middle section of the main spillway was reconstructed with temporary rcc. over the last week, crews have been milling the top layer of the rcc chute to create a uniform surface before placement of steel- reinforced structural concrete slabs. as part of this year's work, crews will place a three-foot layer of structural concrete on the rcc portion of the chute and will build permanent, structural concrete walls. reporter live share more details on what the phase two construction will involve. live at the oroville dam, laura eng, action news now.###
