Vanessa Romo joined the Action News team in July 2019 as the Sports Director.

Vanessa was previously a sports reporter at KERO-TV in Bakersfield.

Vanessa graduated from California State University, Fresno in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Media Communications and Journalism with an emphasis in broadcast. In that time, Vanessa worked for the Mountain West Network, Fresno State Athletics, the MiLB and Fresno Foxes.
