Title: Sports Anchor
lcarrell@actionnewsnow.com

Lee Carrell produces and anchors the sportscasts for the 5pm, 6pm and 11pm shows Monday through Friday. He became very interested in athletics at an early age and is thrilled to have a job that allows him to talk about sports on a daily basis. His favorite part of the job is the weekly high school football show "Under the Lights" that he produces and co-anchors with Ross Field on Friday nights.

Lee was born and raised in Chico and is a proud graduate of both Pleasant Valley High School and Chico State. He began working at Action News Now running the teleprompter when he was just a freshman in college.

When he's not working or watching sports, Lee enjoys spending time with his wife, going to the movies, competing in trivia contests and being involved in his church, EV Free.
