GRIDLEY, Calif. -- Kennedy Tull is a lockdown defender who can score at will. She comes from a family of basketball players and enjoys the small details of basketball.
The junior Bulldog joins her twin brother, Grant and older sister Maddyson as former Subway Scholar-Athletes of the Week.
Kennedy leads the team in points scoring almost 17 a game. She also has active hands on is as tenacious on defense as her school mascot. This Bulldog swipes 3.5 steals a game.
Kennedy's teammate and friend Ally Mardesich knows more than most. "Her dedication in and out of practice shows me that she has passion for the game and she loves the game so much."
She also loves dominating inside the classroom posting a 4.2 grade point average. Head Coach Becca McCray says, "she lives in the gym, she goes home, and she does her homework. I think it's put in by her parents saying you've got to succeed in school to succeed in basketball."
Safe to say Kennedy checks off all the boxes as a true leader on and off the court. That's why she's our Subway Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
