REDDING, Calif. -- Junior Gonzalez also signed his letter of intent Tuesday to play at the next level. Gonzalez is a kicker for the Knights but will head to the University of Nebraska at Kearney for football.
He converted on 93% of his PATs last season at Shasta. Gonzalez says he's thrilled to suit up for the Lopers next year.
"I feel extremely excited to go play at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and I think I'm most excited for just the opportunity to go out there and do what I love to do and get a good education and go out there and just make stuff happen" said Gonzalez.
Gonzalez also went to Corning high school and was a star athlete playing both soccer and football for the Cardinals.
