PREP VOLLEYBALL: State playoff brackets released

The 2017 CIF State Girls Volleyball Playoff Brackets have been unveiled.

The California Interscholastic Federation has released the 2017 Girls Volleyball Playoff Brackets for all divisions.

First round matches get underway for Divisions I-VI Wednesday, Nov. 15th at 7:00pm with Regional Semifinals set for Tuesday, Nov. 21st (The Division VI NorCal Regional Final will take place Tuesday, Nov. 21). Regional Finals are on Saturday, Nov. 25th and the State Title matches will be Friday, Dec. 1st (Div-I and Div-V) and Saturday, Dec. 2nd (Div-II, Div-III and Div-IV) at Santiago Canyon College in Orange.

Below are the first-round matchups involving schools from the Northern Section. 

Div-II:

(11) Chico @ (6) Nevada Union
(12) Pleasant Valley @ (5) Foothill (Pleasanton)

Div-III:

(7) Shasta vs. (10) El Dorado
*Red Bluff opted to not play

Div-IV:

(3) West Valley - bye (Will play the winner of Carondelet-Capital Christian in the 2nd round)
(10) Willows @ (7) Colfax
(15) University Prep @ (2) Del Norte
(16) Pierce @ (1) Presentation

Div-V:

(2) Durham vs. (15) Bradshaw Christian
(5) Colusa vs. (12) Golden Sierra
(10) East Nicolaus @ (7) Clear Lake

NorCal Div-VI:

(4) Fall River vs. (5) Mendocino
(6) Paradise Adventist Academy @ (3) Big Valley Christian
