Orland High prepares for football season.

ORLAND, Calif. -- The Trojans finished 3-2 last season in the Butte View league. They trailed behind Sutter and Gridley.

Head Coach Nicholas Velasques will return this season and he says his team is unlike any other he has coached in the past. 

"What youre going to get is a team that is hungry and we're going to come down there and go for the win," said Velasquez. "We're not going down there just to be competitive. We want to start things off with a win right away and ultimately the goal is to make a Nor Cal Regional because no Orland team has ever done it."

Fifteen players will return back.
