Tate Hampton played football his entire life and even played lacrosse.
Then after a shocking discovery last year, his time in sports came to an end. Hampton played on the junior varsity football team.
Last year, he left the team after being diagnosed with cancer.
Hampton still attends classes at Pleasant Valley then heads to chemotherapy after.
All of this has taken a toll on Hampton and his family.
That’s why the Vikings will be holding a gala for him in hopes to raise money.
The gala will be held at Elk's Lodge on September 21st if you would like to attend or show support click this link.
