It's hard to wipe the smile off Hunter Hampton's face nowadays.
Hampton is a lifelong Houston Astros fan. He has plenty of Astros memorabilia in his Heat office.
Of course, the Astros captured the franchise's first World Series earlier this week by outlasting the Dodgers in an epic seven-game series.
The title snapped a 56-year drought for the Astros.
Hampton grew up in Houston and used to attend Astros games at the Astrodome. One of his fondest memories is seeing Nolan Ryan toss his fifth career no-hitter in person.
Hampton says he celebrated the World Series victory with a cigar and a glass of spirits.
But, we had to ask him. Was it sweeter seeing the Astros win it all, or watching the Heat capture the title in the inaugural season of the Great West League in 2016?
Here's what he had to say:
"Without a doubt the Chico Heat championship you can never take it away from me. It was an amazing feat, just great and I love it. I've got a ring and I couldn't be more proud of everybody around us you know? But, we're talking fifty years, God bless the Houston Astros and I'm pretty proud of them as well," said Hampton.
