CHICO, Calif. -- Jesse and Zach Stidham have come a long way from playing in the driveway to now on a court with the Chico Superkats.

"It's really cool," said Jesse. "I was pretty stoked when I made my high school team, so this is awesome."

"I was 6 foot tall in 6th grade, so people were like, 'you need to play basketball," said Zach. "I never really played basketball, but started playing it and just fell in love with it."

Zach and Jesse went on to play for Chico High School. Zach even had a stint with Butte College. The brothers say their chemistry is was an advantage to making the team.

"I've learned a lot from him my whole life," said Jesse. "It's really cool to play with him now because we have great chemistry."

"During one of the drills and the scrimmages, we got matched up together, so we just kind of blew everybody else out because we play together all the time and everybody else in the gym never met eachother," said Zach.

The Superkats will hit the road for its first game against the Oaktown Warriors.
