Butte's bowl bound! Roadrunners to play Fresno City in State Center Bowl

Roadrunners will play on the road Saturday, November 18th

The Butte College football team learned its postseason fate Sunday as the California Community College Athletic Association bowl-game pairings were released.

Butte (5-5) will play on the road at Fresno City (7-3) in the State Center Bowl Saturday, November 18th at a time yet to be determined.

After Saturday's heartbreaking 27-26 loss in the final seconds to Sacramento City, Butte ended the regular season with a 5-5 overall record and a 2-3 mark in the very competitive Nor Cal League.

While some might say it's been a disappointing season for Butte, one of the top JUCO programs in the state in recent memory, they still made it to a bowl game and now have a chance to end the season on a winning note.
