Butte football record broken

Kyle Lindquist surpassed Aaron Rodgers 17 year old record of most passing touchdowns in a game in Butte's recent win over Feather River College

CHICO, Calif. - Butte football beat Feather River College 56-30 last Saturday. One big reason why is Kyle Lindquist who threw seven touchdowns on his way to a 356 yard passing game.

Aaron Rodgers held the previous record when he threw for six against Shasta College in 2002.

Lindquist says, "I feel pretty great. It's awesome to accomplish something like that especially surpassing someone like Aaron Rodgers you know, he's in the NFL and probably one of the best quarterbacks to play there. It's a great feeling."

The Roadrunners will play College of the Siskioyous this Saturday at Butte for the first time this season.
