Dedicated to ensuring the opportunity for individuals with developmental disabilities to realize goals and enhance their quality of life, The Arc of Butte County began as a group of parents seeking support and guidance from each other, as well as their government.
Our local Arc chapter joined a network of state and national chapters to effectively advocate for improvements in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. The Arc of Butte County joins The Arc organization in promoting and protecting the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.
