Power outage in north Chico

Some north Chico residents are experiencing a power outage in the area just north of Eaton Road.

CHICO, Calif. - Some north Chico residents are experiencing a power outage in the area just north of Eaton Road.

According to the PG&E website, the outage is estimated to have started Sunday, May 10 around 11:54 a.m and is expected to be back around 3 p.m.

The exact location of the outage is still undetermined and the cause of the outage is currently under investigation.

Dry weather, sunny skies, warmer temperatures, and gusty north winds will drive elevated fire danger today. We'll have even stronger winds, but cooler temperatures on Tuesday. Fire danger will remain elevated. There will also be a chance for light showers in the Sierra on Tuesday and Wednesday.
