Paradise, Calif.— While rain and snow are in the forecast, wind was the biggest concern around Paradise and Magalia.

There weren't too many people out and about walking around Paradise, but Action News Now spoke with one man who was woken up this morning by a tree limb crashing down onto his trailer home.

Nathan McDaniel said that about 8:30 this morning a limb fell about 50 feet and almost landed on him as he was sleeping in his bedroom.

Luckily he's okay and only suffered a few scratches on his leg.

He wanted to share his story so others know the importance of just how dangerous this wind can be.

"Don't panic, ya know it never helps anything and try and have tree people come out and keep good track of what trees are in danger so you can get them taken down or stuff moved," said McDaniel.

There is another trailer available on the property which he's already begun moving into.

A few gas stations around town said they haven’t seen too much of an increase in gas sales, but with these winds there is potential to knock out power and you want to make sure you have that gas on hand if you own a generator.
