Deputies in El Dorado County said they were shot at while responding to a call early Wednesday morning. Deputies were responding to a call in the area of Sand Ridge and Bucks Bar road near Mt. Aukum road when they were shot at by an unknown number of people, the sheriff's office said. Multiple people are in custody as deputies continue to clear the area of any remaining suspects. People in the area are asked to shelter in place and report any suspicious activity to 911.
PG&E says they will decide sometime Wednesday whether it will shut off power for parts of the North State Wednesday evening. The company estimates $184,000 customers may lose power. If PG&E goes through with the shutoff, they say it could go out this afternoon. However, PG&E has still not given a specific time on when the shutoff could occur. Red Bluff police are searching this morning for a missing girl. A 13-year-old Sayla Blanchard is still missing. One of the two girls who went missing in Red Bluff. The other girl 15-year-old Patience Keeler has been found safe, police said. They both ran away from their respective homes, according to police.
