Chico group presents recall notice to mayor, council member

Chico Mayor Randall Stone and Councilman Karl Ory were served with recall papers just before Tuesday night's council meeting. The group of citizens that served the papers are moving forward with efforts to collect 7,500 signatures in order to have the petition certified. If that happens, there would be a special election for people to vote. 

Allergy symptoms could flare up again in the coming days

With these next few days being dry, people can expect pollen to be back in the air and eyes, noses, and throats to suffer once again. Doctors at Mercy Medical Center said if allergy symptoms worsen throughout the day, people should try limiting time outdoors.

Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office searching for man missing out of Happy Camp

The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office is looking for John Alameda. He was last seen in the Elk Creek area of Happy Camp when he went out looking for his missing dog. Anyone with information is asked to call the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office at 530-841-2900. 

Red Bluff police searching for man connected to over 20 cases

Red Bluff police are asking for the public's help finding a suspect connected to over 20 different cases. Police said David York is suspected of theft, vandalism and burglary. Anyone with information is asked to call the Red Bluff Police Department at 530-527-3131. 

Traffic alert: Road construction in Glenn County could cause 30-minute delays

Wednesday, road crews in Glenn County will be fog-sealing several roads and that could cause up to 30-minute delays. This will impact County Road 9 from 6th to 4th Avenues and County Road P from Highway 32 to Road 9. The Glenn County Sheriff's Office advised motorists to take an alternative route. 

25 democrats are calling for the impeachment of President Trump

More than 20 congressional Democrats are now calling for President Trump to be impeached. This comes after former White House Counsel Don Mcgahn failed to appear before the House Judiciary Committee, citing executive privilege.
