Paradise Irrigation District puts together water plan 

The Paradise Irrigation District now has a plan to clear up pipes contaminated with Benzene in the wake of the Camp Fire. They are hosting a community meeting on March 26 at the Paradise Alliance Church on Clark Road.

Red Bluff police arrest 2 teenagers for social media threats

Red Bluff police have arrested two 13- and 14-year-old boys for making threats to another student on social media. Police say the boys sent pictures of themselves holding a gun to a 12-year-old girl. This was at Vista Preparatory Academy.

Oroville CHP arrests Stockton man following high-speed motorcycle chase and crash

Oroville CHP arrested Jesus Bautista after they say he led them from Thermalito to Marysville, where he crashed his motorcycle. Officers found 22 grams of cocaine on the man during his arrest. No one was injured.

Humboldt County Bomb Squad detonates marine flare on Samoa Beach

The Humboldt County Bomb Squad detonated a marine flare found on Samoa Beach. This was just off New Navy Base Road Wednesday afternoon. The sheriff's Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team cleared the beach and detonated the flare safely.

Storm damage forces closure of Whiskeytown and Cottonwood cemeteries

Storm damage and debris has forced the closure of the Whiskeytown and Cottonwood cemeteries. Crews are working to clear that debris now. No word on when those cemeteries will reopen.

Semi-truck crash causes closure on Ord Ferry Road

Ord Ferry Road between River Road and 7 Mile Road will be closed for at least the next 2 days due to damage from a truck crash. there is an alternate route south of the bridge.

Shasta College reveals specialized fire-training towers

Shasta College is revealing brand new specialized fire training towers. The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
