Chico State students dealing with housing shortage

Chico State students say they are dealing with a housing shortage following the Camp Fire. The university says options are still out there, but students will have to move quickly. For information on off-campus housing options, CLICK HERE

Redding city leaders will meet to discuss wildfire prevention techniques

Thursday, Redding city leaders will meet with the Community Planning Assistance for Wildfires Organization to learn wildfire prevention techniques. They will discuss fire behavior, land-use planning, forestry and building plans. 

Police arrest 4 in Covelo attempted burglary

Four people are behind bars this morning after an attempted burglary in Covelo Tuesday morning. The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office arrested Felix Swearinger, Lee Joaquin, Ambrose Fallis and Sally Arrellano. The suspects now face burglary, drug, theft, and gun charges. Two of the suspects were already on probation.

Manhunt underway for suspects in cannabis storage unit robbery, assault

A manhunt continues this morning for three men that robbed and assaulted the owners of a cannabis storage unit. It happened in Willow Creek in Humboldt County around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. The robbers stole 50 pounds of cannabis and fled.

Police search for identity theft suspect in Roseville

The search is on for an identity theft suspect in Roseville. Early Tuesday, the victim learned about the identity theft when he received a package he did not order. Investigators are now looking for the suspect.
