‘Susanville White Boys Gang’ Sting Operation
The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office says several accused gang members were arrested in a massive sting operation. This was targeting the so-called “Susanville White Boys Gang.” Authorities say more than 200 local, state and federal law enforcement personnel were involved. They zeroed in on places they suspected meth and heroin were stored. Several people are now facing drug and firearm charges.

Search for 2nd Burglary Suspect in Montgomery Creek
Authorities in Shasta County are searching for the second suspect in a burglary. The sheriff’s office arrested 61-year-old Michael Vandola so far. They say this is his 26th arrest in the county.

Fort Jones Man Faces Attempted Murder Charges in Siskiyou County
The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects, one for attempted murder and the other for accessory to the crime. They say Rick Case shot a rifle at neighbors in the Mt. Shasta subdivision Wednesday morning. No one was injured.

Deadly Hit-and-Run Suspect in Court Thursday
The woman accused of a deadly hit-and-run in Gridley will be sentenced. Prosecutors say Anne Montez pled not guilty to the April 1 crash. The SUV she was suspected of driving was found in Sacramento.

Lease Awarded for New VA Clinic in Redding
Plans are underway for a new state of the art veteran’s hospital to be built in Redding. It will replace the current facility on Knighton Road. The project should be complete before 2022.

Oroville City Candidate Forum
On Thursday night, Oroville Mayoral and City Council Candidate will take part in a forum. It will be at the historic Oroville State Theatre at 6 p.m.

Kavanaugh Investigation Over
The Senate is a step closer to voting on Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell Wednesday night moved to end debate on the matter by Friday. The FBI has given the White House its report on the sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh. The Senate began reading it Thursday morning.
