New Details on Corning Murder

We are getting new details about a murder suspect in corning. Erick Deno is behind bars now. Corning police say he is suspected of killing a woman and hiding her body in a garbage can outside of Marty Court Monday. Action News Now is working to learn his connection to the victim and her identity.

Homicide and Arson Investigation Underway in Cottonwood

A homicide and arson investigation is underway inCottonwood. Firefighters found a woman's body inside a burned home Sunday morning. Investigators are also looking into whether this is connected to a string of suspicious fires in the downtown area. 

Controlled Burn in Oroville Today

Cal Fire says to expect smoke in the foothills east of Lake Oroville due to a controlled burn in the area today. 

PG&E Power Lines Responsible for Cascade Fire

A new report from Cal Fire says PG&E power lines sparked the deadly Cascade Fire in 2017. There is no word yet on if a settlement could be in the works for Yuba County.
