Camp Fire Update

After 13 days, the Camp Fire is now 151,373 acres and is 70 percent contained. The death toll has now risen to 79. 

Butte County to Keep Kids Out of Schools Until Dec. 3

The Butte County Office of Education has announced its plans to keep kids out of school until Dec. 3. But there are many students in our area who don't have a school to go back to. You can get information on what is planned for students by calling 2-1-1 or texting"school ties" to 8-5-5-1-1.

Forecasted Rain Causing Concerns for Evacuees Displaced by Camp Fire

The rain forecasted for Butte County is causing many concerns for evacuees. Cal OES is now making even more of an effort to get those displaced by the Camp Fire into shelters. Butte County Fairgrounds and Glenn County Fairgrounds are both accepting more people.
