Debris-Removal Deadline Thursday

Thursday is the last day for Camp Fire survivors to sign up for government aid in the recovery process. It is also the last day to sign up for an SBA loan and phase 2 of the debris cleanup. 

Judge Determines PG&E Violated Probation

In court on Wednesday, the federal judge presiding over PG&E's criminal case determined that PG&E violated its probation. The determination stems from a deadly 2010 gas pipeline explosion in San Bruno. Now, the judge is considering imposing new conditions of probation on PG&E in order to prevent the utility's equipment from causing more wildfires.

Enloe Medical Center and Anthem Blue Cross Contract Set to Expire

The contract between Enloe Medical Center and insurer Anthem Blue Cross is set to expire Thursday if negotiators do not reach an agreement by midnight. Both sides have agreed to extend their contract on the day of the deadline several times now. Action News Now will continue to track the latest updates.

Chico Police Confirm Death in Mass-Overdose as Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Cocaine Poisoning

Chico police confirm the substance in a deadly mass overdose incident earlier this month was Fentynal. One man died and a dozen others overdosed but survived at a home on Santana Court.

Tehama County Sheriff's Office Continues to Investigate Home-Invasion Robbery

Tehama County Sheriff's Office says marijuana was a potential motive in a deadly home invasion in Corning. The crime happened on Dora Avenue and Highway 99 W on Tuesday night. Three robbers are still on the run while two are dead. Anyone with information is asked to call the Tehama County Sheriff's Office.
