Chico police are searching for a man who robbed the 7-Eleven on Main Street at gunpoint. The clerk said at around 2:20 a.m. Tuesday morning a man in a mask showed him a handgun and stole money from the register.
An active officer-involved shooting investigation is underway in Redding. Police say a man pointed a gun at people on Denton Way before attacking people in a home on Arizona Street Monday afternoon. Plumas County Sheriff's Office Searching for Stabbing Suspect
Plumas County Sheriff deputies are searching for John Butcher who is suspected of stabbing a man in the eye at a home on Willow Way in Chester Monday afternoon.
The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office says it has made the largest heroin bust in the county's history. Deputies arrested Adrian Cota-Alonso and Edgar Barragan-Castano on Hookton Road in Loleta on Sunday afternoon with 12 pounds of heroin hidden in a fake compartment in the back seat. Agents also seized more than $6,000 in cash.
