Chico Police Searching for Armed Robber

Chico police are searching for a man who robbed the 7-Eleven on Main Street at gunpoint. The clerk said at around 2:20 a.m. Tuesday morning a man in a mask showed him a handgun and stole money from the register. 

Redding Police Investigating Deadly Officer-Involved Shooting

An active officer-involved shooting investigation is underway in Redding. Police say a man pointed a gun at people on Denton Way before attacking people in a home on Arizona Street Monday afternoon. Witnesses at the scene said the man appeared as if he was under the influence of some type of drug. Stay with Action News Now for the latest updates as they become available. 

Plumas County Sheriff's Office Searching for Stabbing Suspect

Plumas County Sheriff deputies are searching for John Butcher who is suspected of stabbing a man in the eye at a home on Willow Way in Chester Monday afternoon.

Humboldt County Sheriff's Office Makes Largest Heroin Bust in County History

The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office says it has made the largest heroin bust in the county's history. Deputies arrested Adrian Cota-Alonso and Edgar Barragan-Castano on Hookton Road in Loleta on Sunday afternoon with 12 pounds of heroin hidden in a fake compartment in the back seat. Agents also seized more than $6,000 in cash.

The Butte County Board of Supervisors will discuss housing for Camp Fire survivors Tuesday morning. That meeting is at 9:30 a.m. this morning in the board's chambers in Oroville.

Tuesday night, community members get the chance to speak up about potential water rate hikes in Chico. The Public Utilities Commission has a meeting Tuesday night in Chico. There is also a meeting Wednesday in Willows and Thursday in Oroville.
