Services Begin for President George H.W. Bush at Capitol Building

Services are beginning this morning for President George H.W. Bush at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington D.C. Many of the nation's federal and state offices will close in observance - including all post offices. 

Hundreds Attended Camp Fire Community Meeting in Oroville

Hundreds of Camp Fire survivors gathered to voice concerns at last night's community meeting in Oroville. Major questions involved affordable fire insurance, the safey of returning and the cost to rebuild.

Butte County Fire Safe Council Hosts Wildfire Safety Summit

The Butte County Fire Safe Council is hosting a wildfire safety summit. If you want to check it out, stop by between 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. today at the Butte County Association of Governements Building in Chico on Huss Lane.

Most of Concow Opens to Public This Morning

At 9 a.m. this morning, most of Concow will be open to everyone. Concow Zone B, that's central Concow between Griffin Gulch and Crain Ridge will be opened to the public. 

Police Arrest Chico Man for Sending Sexually Explicit Snapchat Messages to Teens

Chico police arrested 22-year-old Kellen Cullpepper for sending sexual content to children through Cnapchat. Nearly 27 girls from ages 12-17 were the victims. Police say he now faces several felony charges.

Tide Sets Up Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry Unit

Tide is setting up its Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry Unit for Camp Fire survivors. That is from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Oroville Municipal Auditorium at 1200 Mysters Street in Oroville.
