Many are wondering where money donated to Camp Fire relief efforts is going. Many distributors are reaching out to evacuees at the FEMA Disaster Relief Center. Big charities, like the North Valley Community Foundation, use the money to create grants that other organizations apply for.
Camp Fire Community Meeting in Redding
There is a Camp Fire community meeting in Redding for any evacuees who made their way up to Shasta County. That will be at Enterprise High School from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Butte County Debris-Removal Clean Up Meeting
In Butte County Monday, there is a meeting to cover the Debris Removal Program. You can turn in your Right of Entry Form. That is at Calvary Chapel Chico on Springfield Drive from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday night.
FEMA said Gridley may be its second location for temporary housing for Camp Fire evacuees. It proposes 400 trailers be placed at an industrial site near Independence Place. FEMA is also considering a lot on Eaton Road in Chico as an additional location for housing.

A man's car plunged into the Klamath River Siskiyou County and he spent five hours underwater. The CHP sais Michael Finn's car skidded of Highway 96. He was able to survive by breathing from a pocket of air. Someone finally spotted the car and called in a dive team. Finn was rushed to the hospital and he is expected to be okay.
Officer Recovers Stollen Car in Ravenwood
Anderson police say an officer was able to recover a stolen car before the owner even knew it was stolen. The officer was patrolling in Ravenwood when he spotted a honda civic not usually in the neighborhood. The officer checked records. He found the car was registered out of Redding and called the owner, who said the car had been stolen within the last few hours. There's no word on if there is a suspect.
Redding police arrested three men for an armed carjacking. Police say it happened at the Burger King on Eureka Way at 1 a.m. Friday. Anthony Cloyd, Erik Morris and Michael Clement robbed a female acquaintance at gunpoint. Officers say they chased them down to Bechelli and Beagle. Afourth male juvenile was with them but was later released.
