Carr Fire Latest Wednesday Numbers
The Carr fire is 115,000 acres and 35-percent contained. There have been a total of six deaths. Four people remain missing Wednesday morning. The updated number of homes destroyed is now 1,018 homes.

City of Shasta Lake Accidentally Evacuated
Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko says the City of Shasta Lake was evacuated by accident. It came Thursday night when surrounding communities were being evacuated. Bosenko says, while he was given in error, they decided to leave it in place in order to not put more lives at risk if they did have to evacuate the city.

Happy Valley Evacuation Orders Lifted
Evacuation orders have been lifted in the Happy Valley area. The communities of Igo and Ono are still evacuated. There are also some changes in road closures.

Cal Trans looks to repair Highway 299
Cal Trans has $21 million in emergency funds to repair damaged areas of Highway 299. The agency says it needs to repair pavement, remove trees and control erosion. They are also eligible for federal disaster relief funding.
