Tuesday will remain warm with high temperatures returning to the 60s, but skies will see more clouds coming in throughout the day ahead of an approaching storm system. We shouldn't see any of the wet weather Tuesday, maybe a few isolated showers. Wednesday looks a little cooler, and we will start to see some light showers work their way in from the South around the early afternoon and evening. We'll see more spotty shower activity throughout Wednesday evening and into Thursday, showers will become more widespread Friday which is when we should pick of some of our higher precip totals.
Models are still indicating that we'll see a few weak waves of storms come through. I do still expect some light showers to continue through Friday and Saturday with some drier weather for Sunday. Precip totals are looking pretty good with the Valley seeing close to 1.00" of some steady rain.
Some sunshine returns to the forecast on Sunday and into the second week of January. It's looking like we'll warm back into the 60s after the rain clears out of the region.
