Wet and windy conditions are on tap for your Friday. Showers are tracking into the valley from the Northern Mountains and Coastal Range this morning. Showers are expected to impact the entire region today, and temperatures will be cooler for your afternoon. Temperatures are very warm this morning. Valley areas have only dipped into the low to mid 50's, and mountain areas are in the mid 40's to low 50's this morning. High temperatures are not expected to be much warmer than what we have early today. Valley areas are projected to end up in the mid to high 50's later today, while mountain areas end up in the high 40's to low 50's. Winds will be up to 15mph out of the South, with gusts up to 25mph today. Showers will continue to impact the region into tonight, but will mostly diminish by Saturday. Snow levels will mostly stay above 7000'.
This weekend looks slightly warmer than today, but not by much. A slight chance for some lingering mountain showers will be on tap for Saturday, but even that is no longer looking very likely. Mostly dry and mild conditions will be in store for Saturday and Sunday.
Temperatures will be a degree or two cooler for the start of next week, and the potential for showers will return to the region by Monday evening. Heavier rain is expected on Tuesday. Snow levels could dip to around 5000' on Tuesday, so mountain travel impacts look likely. Mostly dry and slightly warmer conditions return for next Wednesday, but more showers will be possible towards the end of next week.
