SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. - One Northern California county is launching a new website to keep people up to date on all things related to the coronavirus.

The website is called shastaready.org, it's essentially a one-stop-shop for people who want to track the latest cases in the county.

On the left tab of the website - it answers people's most frequently asked questions, gives advice on how to care for yourself and an option for local government alerts.

It's something one woman says is a big resource.

“To have it tailored to our specific area makes me feel better because where we're physically located, not just the enormous state of California,” said Leslie Oliver, a resident of Palo Cedro.
